Handwoven lamps last for years with a little care. Follow these simple steps to keep them looking new.

• Dust weekly with a soft, dry brush or a hair-dryer on a cool setting.
• Keep away from moisture and direct afternoon sun.
• Use LED bulbs up to 9W – they stay cool and save energy.
• Never use chemical cleaners or water on rattan and jute.
